IST Failure The Information Systems Department maintains an extensive plan in the event of Disaster Recovery. Due to the technological nature of these incidents, an IST representative will serve on the Incident Command command staff as the technical expert for the Incident Command. Clinical Areas During any IST failure, clinical areas will automatically initiate downtime procedures for a minimum of three (3) hours. The IC will determine when downtime procedures are no longer necessary. EVS Downtime procedures related the Bedtracking are immediate. Direct communication from the nursing unit to the housekeeper on the unit during the hours of 0700-1530, contact the 0500 pager or cell phone after 1530hrs. |
