Staff member will provide as much information as possible including a patient description, last known location, and abductor description, if known.
Lead Charge Nurses conduct a detailed search of the identified department
Staff will limit anyone leaving or coming on to the unit
Department leaders adjacent to the area will assign staff to conduct a search of their respective areas including public (common) areas
Staff, facility-wide, will move to observe hallways, elevators, and exits for any suspicious persons
